Why is a donation to Romney Victory important?

Will my login to ComMitt remain the same?

Contributions to Romney Victory are important because they go directly

to Romney for President, the Republican National Committee, and state
parties that will run critical operations to get out the vote. We will be
working together closely to support the entire Republican ticket for victory
in the fall.

Where does my money go?

Contributions to Romney Victory are allocated and distributed to the

participating entities Romney for President, the Republican National
Committee, and four state parties. The first $2,500 is given to the
Romney for President primary election account. The next $2,500 is given
to the Romney for President general election account. The next $30,800
is contributed to the RNC. The rest is split among four state party
committees which receive up to $10,000 each.

What happens to my downline or roll-up in the Stars and

Stripes program?

Volunteer fundraisers will receive credit for their full personal

contribution and all Romney Victory contributions which they directly
collect. If any of these contributors elect to also become volunteer
fundraisers, their recruiter will also receive credit for any primary
or general contributions (the first $5,000) which the recruiters
contributors collect. Fundraisers who collect funds for the RNCs
Presidential Trust will receive credit for $2,500 of every contribution
which they directly collect.

What are the giving limits?

How does my previous donation to the Presidential Trust or

Romney for President affect my status as a Founding Member
or Founding Partner?

Romney Victory is designed to let you give the maximum amount that
can help Governor Romney and the Republican Party, within federal
limits. Specifically, federal law prohibits a single individual from giving
more than $117,000 during a single election cycle to PACs, parties, and
candidates combined. This overall limit has two sub-limits within it:
$70,800 to all PACs and party federal accounts combined, and $46,200
to all federal candidates combined.

All previous contributions made to the Presidential Trust and/or to

Romney for President count toward becoming a Founding Member or
Founding Partner. For example, a member of Romney for Presidents
Club 2500 will need to contribute an additional $47,500 to become a
Founding Member. RNC Team 100 donors will need to contribute an
additional $19,200 to Romney Victory to become a Founding Member.
RNC Regents need to contribute $39,400 to qualify to be Founding
Partners.
