Introduction
In general and traditional sense, if anyone is treated as guest, or inspector, or tourist, or visitor
with much affection and caring in anywhere in the perspective of business or non-business, this
process and operation will be under the term 'Hospitality' which is mainly used due to the human
welfare from very ancient time. For business perspective, hospitality is taken as very profitable
niche in this time in service industry. As hospitality is completed with the help of services, this
hospitality is studied in the service industry area. All kind of services can be the items of doing
hospitality business which always gives much attention to satisfy visitors and clients by ensuring
the wealth maximization of the return related people of a company. Food supplying related
company such as restaurants and food corner, accommodation related company such as hotels
and inn, entertainment related company such as clubs and parks, transportation related company
like travel agencies which are the sectors of hospitality in the industry. For discussing this
industry and its current scopes, and problems, there must be discussed some of many issues
related to hospitality industry and which is the matter of studying and working under the concept
of hospitality management. This report will discuss some of many issues and sectors of
hospitality industry. Employability skills is a very important things in the hospitality industry
sector because this is a business which is run through giving mental satisfaction to the guests
with the much affection and caring which are very sensitive things to the strangers. Skills of
employee can be ensured in a good standing by the best human resource management, by great
financing, by great marketing of the business, and by great customer service to the clients and
where all of the above mentioned things influence the ability and skills of the employee because
the satisfaction comes from the employee by proper managing those things in the business.

Current issues and areas of hospitality management


As the concept of hospitality is being improved consistently and fast by the hospitality industry
due to maximizing wealth by satisfying the clients of this industry, lots present and running
issues, and areas of hospitality such as marketing of sociability and conviviality, management of
contemporary sociability, client services by this industry are being widely used and practiced in

this sector (Burgess, 2010). All this areas and current issues are helping the growth,
development, and improvement of the hospitality industry's condition by ensuring stranger's and
visitor's fundamental demands, by arranging all entertaining and other wants by maintain a good
interconnection between the visitor or clients and host company. Many contemporary and current
things added some different areas and sectors of hospitality business with the help of sociability
marketing and one example of these areas are home service of any products which issue and area
seems to be most effective hospitality business in hospitality industry at this time of modern
world. This industry is not bounded by a small area or by any characteristics as this industry
supports any kinds of ownership, any kinds of structure, any kinds of size, any kinds of
characteristics human. Hospitality industry creates job scopes, entertains clients, gives
transportation facilities, and other sociability related facilities which are being influenced by the
following discussed current issues and areas (King et al., 2009):

Hospitality Marketing
In hospitality industry, in the past when newly emerging the business in this sector there was not
enough rivalry and competition and so there was easy to run this type of business but nowadays,
by the impact of current issues and cotemporary features, it is tough for existing companies to
attract a lot of guests than the competitors in spite of availability of huge service takers in this
industry and for this perspective, marketing that means introducing the company itself to the
possible guests, attracting them by ensuring the ranking and reputation of the company,
promoting and increasing the area of getting strangers is most effectual, operational, and must
needed task for the hospitality and sociability business over the world to ensure the company's
revenue increment (Burgess, 2010). Where one company is not capable of doing much business
according to their expectation, they try with the another best effective way which is creating
group or merging with others which is also the part of great marketing strategy in this sector
because if one company is weak and another is strong in the sociability industry, they can share
their clients and profit with others and in this strategy, one company's reputation can be affect
another in the same way because people see the group's reputation not individual's reputation.
Marketing in hospitality includes service promotional efforts, service development efforts by
which are possible by the information from different sources like customers, guests, media,
outsiders, employees, and staff of the company, and service development efforts (King et al.,

2009). Marketing always tries to maximize service user's quantity by developing, promoting,
distributing the services which are always available in the company. As the management uses
lots of strategies, mixes, and plans to market their service, employability skills of the company
must be increased by doing those things and when employability skills will be with the good
standard, the company will obviously shine in this area (Messenger and Shaw, 1991. The more
employability skills are available in the company, the more the company gets profit and
advantages from the clients in the market.

Customer Service
In a company, customer service can be described as the activity of the people in charge in the
organization to give attention to the client's welfare in using or taking the services, items, or
product from the organization (King et al., 2009). Good customer service in hospitality industries
can be delivered by a hospitality business if the staff of the company has enough skill to serve
the customer according to the companys expectation. Some contemporary issues of customer
service in hospitality business are being added gradually by the help of modern technology
which technology is ensuring the employability skills by making easy the way of responding to
the customer and guests of the business in a certain hospitality company. Customer service
covers fast reply to the client's searches, maintaining good communication with all, accepting
and trying to solve all the criticism and annoyance of the customers, having all information in
collection needed to keep race with customer's search, and taking all orders, requests, or
demands positively to give the customers proper satisfaction in using or taking the service from
the organization and all of these operational techniques give rise to the skill of employee in a
hospitality company (Messenger and Shaw, 1991. Customer service may also include keeping
the database of the customers in details for future inquiries and for obeying the legal obligation
of the country in the hospitality company for the betterment of the corporation. A hotel which is
four star hotel may have great ratings to their guests about offering good customer service by
accomplishing all needed tasks those are useful to ensure customer satisfaction in the hospitality
company and this became possible because they care about all demand of guests if those
demands are lawful to ensure the great client service in hospitality. By the awesome client

service strategy, they have maintained their reputation among the outsiders by offering some
extra caring things. Offering superb customer service and taking expected satisfaction of the
clients are possible by making and implementing guest service policy in the Residence Agnes
hotel. Lots of reasons are in action to know about what the exact customer service procedure will
be in making the guests loyal to the service of the hotel. As the Residence Agnes hotel focuses on

As hospitality industry is one of the brunches of service industry, this sector does business with

Contemporary hospitality studies new invention and features which are available and should be
availed in the hospitality industry. At this in around the globe, hotel and restaurant business is a
great way of profit making in this sector (Bowie and Buttle, 2004). Entertainment related
services are also the great ways of doing business in the sociability industry. One of the most
growing hospitality is giving counseling to the clients. And those above mentioned businesses
are being increased fast all around the world. This running era is the era of comfortable life
leading, and the era of having fun and refreshment. Contemporary hospitality is ensuring those
services to the clients successfully. In very ancient time, it is very difficult to travel from one area
to other areas (King et al., 2009). One of the other major problems were managing comfortable
accommodation for staying anywhere from the outside of home, or at least necessary place to
stay somewhere outside the home because there was a lot f problems such as natural disasters,
shortage of security, proper and safe food, transportation problems, and shortage of safety of
other must needed services. But, in the contemporary hospitality, it is ensured the best services
and resources 'what are needed by a client is being ensured. Some problems and difficulties are
being encountered at presents sociability industry which difficulties are also being taken as the

thoughtful matter by the authority and they are trying their best to ensure the hospitality to the
customers without any difficulties and most of the countries are in the way of success in this
sector of reducing difficulties (Bowie and Buttle, 2004). In this modern era, the skill and ability
of a employee is the main considerable things to the hospitality business management and so
contemporary hospitality focuses on maintain employability skill of the staff.

Human resource management


This is not a single term but it is consolidated with many tasks and strategies of the company
which must be related with the element 'employee' of a hospitality business. HRM is combined
with the tasks of outlining the job's process, planning of getting staff, choosing the exact people,
giving scope to add skill to the employee, and evaluating the tasks of the staff etc (Bowie and
Buttle, 2004). This task is also a consistent task for the management of the company which
cannot be accomplished in a single period because every day there may be a need of outlining
the new jobs, recruiting people, coaching the people, and supervising the employee performance.
In hospitality business, employee acquires much employability skills when they went through the
process of Human Resource Management. The main target of this management is to bring huge
skills and ability to the employee for ensuring company's service business' wealth maximization.
The manager always considers the improvement of staff by doing any needed tasks and
operations, or by supplying all they need. The employees of the hospitality industry always get
extra income or reward from the service users or guests which incentives makes their mind with
full motivation which can ensure the employees best employability ability (Brown and Hall,
2000).

Financing of hospitality
Capital is the fuel of running and establishing a business in any sector of business. Although
some people can share their idea with the business and can participate in that business, that
business must need the capital which is supplied by other partners of the business. Finance
means arranging capital by taking loan which means investment by the sight of the provider of
that loan from anywhere like from banks, financial institutes, or from any other sources. As the
hospitality business is growing all over the world fast and merging different business and making

groups with homogeneous business (Brown and Hall, 2000). The area and size of the business is
becoming large and there is a need of proper financing and huge amount capital. If the hospitality
business is capable of managing needed capital to run the business properly, it is possible to grab
the employees mind by giving pay scale time to time with the desired amount of the people, they
give much attention to their duty and that's why their skill will be developed by the expectation
of the managers of the company (Messenger and Shaw, 1991). As this sector is trending all over
the world, the investors is taking this sector as the great source of investing to earn much profit.
The hospitality business can take loan from different sources which are available in their
surroundings. There is enough risk in financing because there must be an obligation of supply
return to the investors which return is profit. Sometimes, the company may fail to earn expected
revenue and then, to give interest to the investors can be harmful for the company. So, by the
capital, the company must ensure the great employability skill to run the business properly and
for getting much revenue from the business (King et al., 2009).

For business point of view, Hospitality is taken as exceptionally gainful specialty in this time in
