ANNOUNCEMENTS
THE PURCHASE OF ST GEORGES
COMPLETED. We have successfully bought
from the Episcopalian Church their property of
2.77 acres of land at 511 Main Street. The cost
was 2.65 million dollars. The Property has a
small Church, a Rectory and an eight
Classroom Early Learning Center. The Parish
put in 500K, the ELC 210K and HFCA 1940K.
There will be other closing and other costs
which will be shared too.
Fr SEBASTIANS FAREWELL HOMILY will
be delivered on June 18/19 at ALL the Masses.
There will be Hospitality Ministry Fellowship at
all the Masses on Sunday June 19th, so we get
a chance to meet and wish Father Sebastian
Good-bye.
THE SAMOAN COMMUNITY will join us for
Mass on Saturday June 18th for Mass. They will
then have a SEND-OFF Party for Father
Sebastian at the Holy Family premises.
PARISH COUNCIL/FINANCE COMMITTEE
TO MEET on Monday June 20th for the final
time with Father Sebastian. The Bulletin on
June 26th will contain details/Minutes of the
Meeting and a FINANCIAL REPORT. We will
also discuss WELCMING Our new Pastor and
the Priest who will be in residence, as soon as
we know when they will actually arrive. Father
Sebastian will leave the Parish premises on
June 27th morning.

Jesus explains it in the Gospel reading. The sinful woman who bathed Jesus with
her tears was forgiven,
changed
and
justified
through her great love for
him. Love is what breaks us away from the power of
sin. Love is what makes us behave justly.

Any of us who genuinely want to be loving but sin anyway are usually unaware, at that moment, that our behavior is hurting anyone. We don't sin out of deliberate
malice, yet we have behaved unjustly.
We sin because we take our eyes off of Jesus. We're
reacting to current or past stimuli that's tempting us to
behave unjustly. But if we pause long enough to pray
