Task Description:
Goal:
Your task is to use your understanding of the key concept

Communication to create an artwork that reflects your thoughts,
feelings and a belief about what it means to be Australian.
The goal is to use signs and symbols within your artwork and to use
the cartoon comic strip style that Roy Lichtenstein developed.
You are to imagine that you are visually describing your

understanding of modern day Australia to someone who has never
been to this country.
Criteria for Success Please ensure that you have completed
the following;
Create a detailed plan that includes a variety of design ideas. This shows your thought process.
Complete your finished artwork to a high standard with a focus on signs, symbol, line, shape, space,
colour and tone.
