Most people from Excelsior are staying because they like the community.
Residents plans to stay in their communities may reflect social networks and feelings of
belonging among community members. Neighborhoods that experience less residential
mobility are more likely to develop lasting, supportive social networks among residents
than neighborhoods with high residential mobility.Healthy People asserts that the social
they called the Neighborhood watch which help the community have less crime and to

II. Recommendations
Districts should have fundings to make the Excelsior safe, healthy, and to make
them stay. We need our district supervisor to represent us to get financial for the
neighborhood. They need to listen to the community and invest money to make the
Excelsior neighborhood more better and cleaner. The money will come from the city, a
reinvestment of the neighborhood and a redistribution of the money needed to invest.
Cleaner streets and more supervision, community board for the section of the district.
