HOW-TO INSTALL XBMC TO YOUR WINDOWS COMPUTER AND CONFIGURE

WITH THE XBMC HUB WIZARD ADD ON

PART ONE INSTALL XBMC

Step 1: Download the latest XBMC software package for Windows.

1-Click Windows

Step 2: Double Click the file you just downloaded to start the Installer.

Step 3: Allow your computer to run the software, if prompted, by clicking the Run button.

Step 4: Follow the Installers process by clicking Next when prompted.

Step 5: Wait a few minutes while the installation process finishes.

Step 6: The Installer will tell you when its completed, just click Finish to close the Installer.

PART TWO CONFIGURE XBMC

Step 1: Launch XBMC and Navigate to the File Manager tab under the SYSTEM menu.

Step 2: Choose (click) the Add Source function on the left side of the window.

Step 3: Under the top field marked Enter the paths or browse for the media locations enter

the on-screen keyboard.

Step 4: Under the Enter a name for this media Source field enter fusion without quotations
and then press the Done button to complete.

Step 5: Press on the OK button at the bottom of the window to save the source.

5- Click Ok button

Step 6: Verify that fusion is listed on the left side of the File Manager window, then return to
the main menu.

Step 7: Go to Settings under the SYSTEM menu.

Step 8: Choose the Add-ons menu option on the left side of the window, press Ok if
prompted with a first time use message.

Step 9: Select the Install from zip file function listed.

Step 10: Click on the fusion server item.

Step 11: Open the hubwizard-beta folder.

Step 12: Choose the plugin.video.hubwizard.zip file and wait a few seconds for it to install,
then return to the main menu.

Step 13: Navigate to the PROGRAMS menu, then to Program Add-ons if given the option.

Step 14: Click on the Hub Wizard add-on listed.

Step 15: Wait for the short promotional message to play, press the back or exit button to hide it
afterwards.

Step 16: Select the Windows icon from the listed options.

Step 17: Wait a few minutes for the add-on to download the appropriate configuration content.

Step 18: Press OK when prompted that the procedure is complete, then return to the main
menu.

Step 19: Quit XBMC by clicking the little power button in the lower left corner or reboot your
device then Re-launch it.

Enjoy your fully customized, pre-configured XBMC setup.

Your setup of XBMC should now be running and you are all set to explore the many features and
possibilities of the XBMC. If you have any questions or need more information on how to add
(Movies, TV Shows, Music, etc....), maintain or run the XBMC, then try to visit Forums for
assistance.

The next two sections (Part Three and Part four) will
cover how to add and install repositories for movies,
TV shows, music, pictures, etc...

PART THREE INSTALL REPOSITORIES (Videos, Movies, TV Shows, Music, etc)

Step 1: Launch XBMC: In the main menu, choose the Settings tab under the SYSTEM
menu.

Step 2: Click on the Add-ons link on the left side menu.

Step 3: Press the OK button on the First run help popup, if prompted.

Step 4: Choose the Install from zip file function from the list.

Step 5: Click on the fusion option from the prompt.

Step 6: Choose the video folder at the bottom of the list.

Step 7: Select the repositories folder listed.

Step 8: Install your desired repository, Ive listed some of the more popular repositories as
follows. I am going to use icefilms-repository.googlecode.anarchintosh-projects.1.0.1.zip for
this example.

Step 9: Repeat from Step 5 until Step 8 (from Part Three above) as desired until youve installed
all the repositories you wish.

PART FOUR ENABLE ADDONS

Step 1: Choose the Get Add-ons option from the menu.
1- Select Get Add0ns

Step 2: Select the repository which contains the add-on you wish to install. Ive chosen
anarchintosh addons for this example.

Step 3: Click on the Video Add-ons folder, or whichever appropriate.

Step 4: Select the add-on you wish to install, in this case its the Icefilms add-on.

Step 5: Choose the Install button from the popup window, then wait about a minute for it to
install.
5- Click install

Step 6: Repeat from Step 2 to Step 5 (from Part Four above) until youve installed all the add-ons
youre looking to use.

After you finish installing all the add-ons you wanted.

Return back to the main menu by clicking the home
icon button

Step 7: Navigate to the Add-ons tab under the VIDEOS menu heading.

Step 8: Notice the video add-ons you just installed are now available for your enjoyment.

Quick Tip: Within the video add-ons menu, navigate to the left of the screen either with your
keyboard, or mouse, and change the View setting from List to Thumbnail for a nicer user
interface.
