Given a model set up in HyperMesh with analysis entities as shown below

It is then desirable to have different colours for each property, material, component, loadcase etc

Select all the entities by using shift + left click on the first and the last entity in a list

Right click on the colour of the first entity and then choose auto colour

To get different colours assigned to each entity as below
