Scenario 1: RSIP Error

3. Clear error by unplugging line from modem.
4. Direct connect to verify dial tone(s) are present.

Scenario 3: Off the Hook

o Schedule trouble call for home wiring

Scenario 4: Line In Use

being held open
o Check if the customer is using their Armstrong phone
o Power cycle primary cordless base to try and open up line
o If not, unplug phone line from modem to see if line opens up
o If line opens up, scheduled trouble call for possible home wiring
o Direct connect as temporary fix

Scenario 5: Provisioning

Most commonly occurs when the MTA is not registering the phone
number correctly
o @CM TN place an M next to the number, press enter.
o Copy and erase the number from line one, press enter.
o Add the number back to line 1, hit enter again.
o Retry with line 2 if line 2 is unsuccessful
