Internet Speed Information

The document provides speed information for various Zoom internet plans, noting that products offering speeds of 100 Mbps or higher require a Docsis 3 modem. It instructs technicians to check that the listed speeds are correct, determine if the computer is connected directly or via wireless, and perform a speed test to identify if slow speeds are due to the computer, wireless router, or a potential area issue. If you are getting the proper speeds when connected with the modem
through the computer then that means that the wireless router is slowing
those speeds down. Wireless G is rated for up to 54 Mbps but that is a
vacuum that is radio interference free. Realistically those will top out at
about 11 Mbps. In order to get the correct speeds you will need at least
wireless N. Wireless AC will also work.
We guarantee 90% of our speeds as advertised. (FCC only requires 80%)
