Instructions:
Using the 3 topics learned in our STATS unit you
are to Research or Create/Develop two or one of
each problem as outlined. Each problem must be
an application problem (word problem). (20
points each).
1problem- Empirical Rule (Normal Distribution graph
required.)

2problems-Z Score
2problems-Confidence Interval (Normal Distribution graph
required-show where the interval actually is Instructional
Video from class).

REQUIRED:
1. State/write each word problem problem.
2. Provide a worked out solution for each.
3.Team Grade: Use chart paper for the problems
(divide the chart paper neatly to fit the
problems provided).
4.Each problem must demonstrate all information
learned per topic! (Use your notes/Discuss as a
team).
5. Provide Formulas & Normal Distribution tables where
appropriate for each topic.
6. All work must be neat and understandable and free
of errors.
7. Quality of work weighs heavily on both grades.
8. Each problem must be accurate for full credit.

Note: Individual Grades- Each person in the


group must submit his/her copy of all work on
demonstrated on Chart paper separately on
his/her notebook or copy paper provided.
