    This is a letter of recommendation for Matthew Stainbrook for the First
    Team USA Fencing All-Academic Team. I have known Matthew for two
    years. He has been one of my Spanish students. In the time I have known
    Matthew, he has been a great example of a young man with strong character
    and strong potential. I feel certain that his strong academics and his love for
    fencing make him a superior candidate for this prestigious team.
    Matthew is a conscientious student. He works diligently to
    accomplish his tasks. He is inquisitive. He is a hard worker. Due to his high
    academic standards, he was selected to be a member of the National Honor
    Society. He maintains excellent grades while contributing to the
    community through working a part-time job and participating in other
    activities including Fencing. Matthew fences two or three times weekly and
    has participated in the Junior Olympic program.
    I am certain that Matthew Stainbrook will be an excellent addition to
    the First Team USA Fencing All-Academic Team. He strives for excellence
    and gives back through his various activities. I have no reservations in
    recommending him for this prestigious endeavor.
