An experiment was conducted to examine adipocyte differentiation at different time points. Protein samples were taken from mouse embryonic fibroblast cells that were either wild type or had the Mfn2 gene knocked out at various days during differentiation. The samples were analyzed by immunoblotting to detect levels of the Mfn2 protein marker at different stages of adipocyte differentiation between wild type and knockout cells.
