MGT602 - Entrepreneurship

Question/Description:
“An Entrepreneur was running his business successfully in Pakistan. He decided to expand
his business in the international market. He sent few very senior employees to
the Europe for running his branch over there. One of his intrapreneurs arranged some loan
to the bank for this purpose with very reasonable rate. After 8 months that branch failed to
accomplish its entire targets, as a result the domestic business also suffered badly”.
Under this scenario, the decision of starting his business in the international market was
good or bad, and state with reason that who was the most affected entity in this decision to
the following: Entrepreneur, Intrapreneur or Bank.
(Your answers must be within two lines)

Answer/solution:

Entrepreneur has the authority to take final decision. So his decision of expanding business in the
international market was good. As he knows about his financial resources so he should take
decision after proper surveys, If he couldn’t do so in past, then it was his own responsibility that
keep a check on monthly basis reports. He should neither take rest nor shows ignorance about
international branch, so my point of view is that main reason was entrepreneur himself, and he
was most affected by this decision.
