Prospective crew members for the yacht Motor Yacht Laurel must disclose any pre-existing health conditions that could impact their ability to perform their duties. Crew members must also submit to any required vaccinations or health precautions. Policy:
When applying for a position on board the Yacht, prospective employees are expected to disclose and describe
any pre-existing health related conditions or ailments they may have. Prospective employees must reveal any
conditions that may preclude or prevent them from performing the duties and responsibilities of their specific
position on board the Yacht as described in this handbook to a satisfactory and acceptable level as able-bodied
men and women.
Crew members found to have falsified or knowingly withheld information regarding their health may be subject
to immediate dismissal.
Crew members must submit to inoculations, vaccinations, and any other health precautions as may be directed
by the Captain.
Crew members are advised that the Captain will expect each crew member to maintain his or her health at the
highest levels possible. This includes adequate sleeping and healthful eating habits, as well as moderation in
alcohol consumption.
Viruses are very contagious, especially in the close confines on board the Yacht. Crew members who feel the
onset of illness are requested to take prompt, positive action to minimize the impact and the spread of the virus
to fellow crew members.
