Kgalagadi Breweries (Pty) Limited (herein after referred to as KBL) requires the services of

warehouse operation services in its Gaborone Depot. KBL views warehouse operation services
as a strategic function and core in inventory management, sales order management and a
prerequisite to distribution of products to the market. The technical nature and complexity of
warehouse activities continues to increase, demanding excellence and efficiency as a prerequisite
to KBL sustaining its competitive advantage. This increased pursuit for efficiency requires a
dedicated, effective and innovative execution of warehouse activities.
A Dedicated Warehouse Operation Services is required that demonstrates the capability and
capacity of the contractor to deliver against the scope of this Request for Proposal herein.
Objectives/Purpose:
1. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit responses from qualified Vendors
to provide warehouse Operation Services for KBL, during the term of the proposed
contract, in accordance with the requirements of this proposal and any resulting contract.
KBL expectations of the successful contractor:
KBL operates within a highly competitive industry which demands a high performance culture
internally and in turn KBL expects that from its service providers.
The demands include:
1. Warehouse Operations excellence and consistent execution at the highest level across all
defined classes of trade.
2. Professional management approach at all levels of the contractors organisation.
3. Flexibility to deal with KBLs adhoc demands.
4. The highest levels of accuracy and integrity on all reporting.
5. Contract managed within a strict Service Level Agreement (SLA) regime.
6. Relentless compliance to service level requirements.
