Use the flash cards (erosion) ask them if they know its meaning, receive
answers from 4 students then tell them its meaning and explain how it happens.
Let students imagine that they are in the beach and building their sand castle,
then ask them: what will happen if a wind or a water come over your castle?

Guided Experience (group working with the teacher)

Show them the word (glacier) let the students read their books to know the
meaning of it,
Let the students read their books go to low level group to help them while they
are reading (guided reading) and observe high and middle group (independent
reading) Then have students watch the video and discuss what they saw. then
the teacher will explain it clearly for all students
Objectives:
Relate the lesson to language arts subject by Improving students reading skills
Investigate the type of erosion (glacial)
Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

High level activity:

Each student define the words (glacier and erosion) and identify five important
facts about glacial erosion.
Allow 3 of them to come and explain one word or fact for middle and low levels
students

Objectives:

Introducing new words (glacier and erosion) and how they are related to each
other when they will define the words.
Work cooperatively When they will explain for other groups

Independent Experience(small group activity 2)

Middle level activity:


Taking notes while high levels students are explaining
Let each middle level groups to have a discussion about their notes

when they will take notes and discuss between each other
Investigate the type of erosion (glacial)

Have students tell what they understand to the rest of the class
