Plumbers specialize in the installation and


maintenance of water, drainage, and sewage
systems. Usually this means fixing pipes and
cleaning drains for people. No college degree
is required, however you usually will undergo
on the job training. Plumbers are always in
high demand and so have the option to live
anywhere, and they make an average salary of
$50,660 per year.

Accountants are the people who keep and


inspect financial records. They can work in
the private sector helping people correctly
do their taxes or work in government performing tax audits. To become an accountant it is suggested that you have at least a
bachelors degree. You also should have
passed the CPA test. The average salary is
$65,940 per year and they can live pretty
much anywhere (although urban areas offer
better pay). Accounting is expected to grow
by about 142,400 jobs through 2024.

Nurses are the professionals responsible


for monitoring a patients conditioning,
performing medical procedures, and administering medicine. A bachelors in
Nursing is becoming a necessary possession for anyone interested in joining this
field. The median salary is $66,640 and
they have the option to go work /live
anywhere. By 2024 there should be about
439,300 new jobs in this industry.

Sales representatives sell goods and services


to businesses, government agencies and other
organizations. A high school diploma at minimum is what is needed, however prior work
experience or a bachelors degree can be advantageous. The median salary is $55,020 and
the best locations to live are in metropolitan
areas like Rochester and Boston. By 2024 an
additional 93,400 jobs will have been created
in this industry.
