This document provides examples of how teachers can use videos and digital tools to enhance learning in the classroom across various subjects and standards. It suggests having students work in groups to create instructional videos on lessons to teach their classmates. Examples are also given for students making videos to demonstrate their understanding of topics like shapes in math, historical events in social studies, and facts about other planets in science. The document emphasizes that creating videos allows students to apply their knowledge and be creative. It also notes the benefits of teachers collaborating by making joint videos to explain new concepts. Differentiation strategies are outlined, such as allowing students with disabilities to add text to videos instead of audio. Overall, the document advocates for the use of videos and digital tools to

When viewing
new videos, watch
the video 2-3
times. This will
help students with
learning
disabilities be able
to process the
information
better, and will
most likely help
the rest of the
class as well.

Understand- while
watching the videos,
students are expected
to understand the
content. Watching the
video multiple times
will help this process.

Students with
speech/language
disabilities will still
make videos, but
they will be able to
add text in their
video instead of
voice audio.

Apply- students will be

using information
learned in a video just
like other students. It
will just be
demonstrated
differently.

Reflection: Using videos and digital tools is very helpful in a classroom. It gets away from the teacher always talking to the
students. Teachers can use this to give information in a non-traditional way. This may help students because some might do
better by seeing information rather than just listening. Teachers can also work with colleagues. This way all classes in the grade
level will be learning the same information, and working together will help determine what the most important information is to
teach. Having students make videos is a creative and fin way for students to show what they learned. Videos can be made in both
groups and individually. Videos might also be less intimidating to show a class versus saying a speech. It is important to allow
students to make videos because it allows them to be creative. Having projects where students can use their imagination get
them excited about it, and they will often provide better work.
