Tech Integration Matrix-2 Word

The document outlines how teachers and students can use Storybird, an online storytelling tool, to teach and reinforce various subjects. Teachers will create Storybird examples modeling lessons on topics like creating stories, solving math equations, using shapes and images, and differentiating writing styles. Students will then practice these skills by making their own Storybird assignments, such as guessing who wrote samples, writing stories in groups, and analyzing examples for mistakes or missing elements. The goal is for students to learn key concepts and demonstrate understanding through interactive Storybird activities that incorporate skills like creative thinking, collaboration, and providing feedback.

Reflection: Story-birds are a way to promote the reading and writing development of children, however they can be very limited.
One thing I did not like with writing the story-bird was that you could not use your own images or images you found, it had to be
from their artists. Creating this story-bird matrix made me realize that using story-birds are most effective when working on
literacy skills and it was easier to plan activities with literacy than other subjects. I think this will effect how I let students
creatively write their own stories, it gives a good base for creating stories. I also think this will effect how writing is becoming
more digital instead of hand written, which for a technology class is great but it will effect how students actually use penmanship.
I really enjoyed seeing how digital tools work and available we are to accessing digital story telling.
