Chinese 1 Syllabus 2015 - Field

Standards: 2, 5,
Goals: 2,
This was the syllabus I handed out at the beginning of my third school year. In this
syllabus I not only introduced the learning objectives of the school year, but also made
grading policy and classroom rules clear to student.
Based on my experience of the first and second year, as well as my learning in these
two years, I made more systematic classroom management plan, in which I tried to
cover most possible behavior problems that I had seen in the first two years. Actions to
deal with these problems were also well designed, including most effective strategies I
had used. I made these clear in the course syllabus and distributed to students on the
first day of school and required for a parent signed receipt slip, by which I intended to
get parent involved from the beginning.

1. Chronic behavior that disrupts the educational process will be referred to an
administrator.

applies to radios, CD or tape players, Walkman or other electronic devices.

special event.

8. Smile! Being the very few people to be able to speak Chinese is fantastic and
cool!

Friendly reminder:
If I address you for your behavior 3 times, you will be sent
out of class with a referral.

I always believe that to teach is to touch a life forever! My job here is never just to
teach you Chinese. My finial mission that I strongly believe as an educator is to help
you, support you, love you and watch every one of you to grow happily, to mature
wisely, to become stronger and successful so that when you graduate, you have more
skills and power to choose and embrace life in your dreamed way.
We will work together and learn from each other how to realize this goal so that when
you walk out from my class, you will truly be proud of yourself. I will always be here for
support!
Thank you,
