Passion Project

This document discusses the lack of access to education for many children in India. It identifies several key factors contributing to the problem, including high rates of homelessness and child labor, poor infrastructure and quality of government schools especially in rural areas, diseases and malnutrition among homeless children, and encouragement of child labor and early marriage when children do not attend school. As a result, this creates a growing and never-ending cycle of poverty across generations. Some solutions proposed include stronger enforcement of acts passed by the government to provide free and compulsory education, as well as devoting more resources to improving infrastructure, standards, and access to schools.
