Resume Review Sheet

Students name: Haley Lambert
Your Name: Lauren Lorenzo
Your Profession: Production Coordinator at Zoic Studios
Date: 03/24/16
Please list three things that this resume does well:
You are keeping things very organized and clear by
sticking with a pattern of the same fonts
Very professional descriptions, especially when talking
about the Ice Post Arena
You are very "to the point" and do not get too wordy,
while also maintaining an impressive tone,
which is great and not always easy to do
Please list three things that this resume can improve/add
(especially according to
conventions of resumes in your discipline):
Once you graduate high school, you don't need to put
your middle school/elementary. All employers
are concerned with is that you have a high school degree.
Make sure the font of your college
matches the other fonts, on my screen it looks a little
different.
To keep things even more clear and concise:
Most people use a "bullet pointed" style instead of the
commas. It's much easier on the
eye, and commas tend to get a little confusing.
List your positions in "most recent" to "least recent". High
school should be LAST in your
education, impressive colleges should be first.
Make your position title fonts, a little bigger than
"Experience" and "Education" and

"Skills". Just a little trick I learned so that the impressive
position titles stick out at the employer. Usually it's
best for your name to stick out first, then the positions.
Make it more clear that you are computer savvy under
"skills"; I would try to come up
with even more computer programs, even if you aren't an
expert in them, it's still impressive to know that
you have various computer knowledge.
I was told by a lot of employers in the art industry that
putting your "interests" at the bottom
(before references) is a really good idea. It will especially
benefit you if your employer has a
common interest with you, because it will give you guys
something fun to talk about during the
interview. It is a way for them to get to know you a little
personally, and may influence their
decision to bring you in. Your interests can be anything you
would like to share; fishing, softball
player for 12 years, whatever, fun stuff. If you would like,
you can even put that you went to a
Christian Middle School in that section, if that is something
you would like to share. Don't get too
overload with the interests, of course.
Thank you!
