To cancel a stuck BMP program in a test IMS system: 1. Log into the IMS TSO address space and display active programs to find the REGID of the stuck program. 2. Issue the /FOR REGID command on the IMS command screen, specifying the REGID. 3. The program will be cancelled and the REGID freed up.

Start a 3270 session


Type IMST8 and hit <Enter>
Logon on using your RACF ID / Password and hit <enter>
