OBJECTIVES
At the end of the session, the students will be able to:
a. Identify the Modals;
b. Construct a sentence using Modals;
c. Determine the use of Modals in the sentence; and
d. State the significance of using Modals in everyday lives.

D. Concepts:Modals- (also called modal verbs, modal auxiliary verbs, modal auxiliaries) are
special verbs which behave irregularly in English. They give additional information about
the function of the main verb that follows it. They have a great variety of communicative
functions.
