Inter Temp Foam

This document describes a validation study of a new temperature equation implementation in the Interfoam solver. It summarizes the governing equations, validation method, and flow configurations used, which involve laminar jet impingement of water and air at Reynolds number 200. Results show qualitative agreement between the new two-phase jet impingement simulations and previous single-phase solutions and experiments. Upcoming work will provide quantitative validation of heat transfer coefficients and Nusselt numbers under different flow regimes and liquids.
