Causes of Environmental Degradation
There are many causes that have
contributed for the degradation of environmental condition . Some of them are Population increase, Industrial growth, Ozone depletion, Global warming, Air pollution and Ecosystem disturbances.

The past 30 years have witnessed a rapid
and tremendous industrial advancement. Expansion of industries is a symbol of country progress. Larger the industries , the greater the progress of the nation. But one can easily see the fact with the growth of industries the danger of pollution have also increased. Hence the industrial progress in turn results in environmental pollutions which is the assuming proportions today.

the progress , but it should not be at the expense of its own people or environment. People and environment are interlinked and interdependent. Health and safety of the people depend on the environment to a considerable extent.
