Dear Mr Singh
RE: Part-time Sales Assistant at BestEverFoods Supermarket
I would like to apply for the position of part-time Sales Assistant at BestEverFoods, as advertised
on your vacancy website.
I am a hardworking sixth form student keen to gain further employment experience over the
next year.
My previous part-time job with Oxfam has provided me with extensive experience of dealing
with customers as well as sales and cashier skills.
I regard myself as an enthusiastic worker and enjoy working in a team, which I have done in my
previous job as well as during project work and group presentations as part of my studies. I am
interested in this position as I believe it will enable me to utilise the skills I have developed
through my studies and work experience to date.
I am keen to work for the UKs leading organic supermarket retailer. I have been impressed by
what I have read on the BestEverFoods website, particularly how you encourage people to
change their shopping habits through your Go Green campaign, providing advice on selecting
organic goods at an affordable price.
For your information, I enclose a copy of my CV and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely
Katie Jones
