To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing in response to your add about a Family Case Manager position which was in the
Monday, April 4, 2016, issue of The Tribune Star. I feel that my college experience at Indiana
State University in my field of study, Human Development and Family Studies, will best suite
your job offering. I feel that I am adequately prepared to take on this job and I will make a
positive mark in your company.
My current volunteer work at Chances and Services for Youth working with children in the after
school care program. I was able to work with children from the lower socioeconomic status on a
daily basis. I had to plan daily activities for the children that were best suitable for their cognitive
ability. I also have experience working in the Child Resource and Referral program. I helped the
employees and was able to gain knowledge about all kinds of resources that are available around
the city of Terre Haute.
I am very interested into further learning about Ireland Home Based Services. I love to learn
every day and I am fully ready to take on a new challenge. My coursework at Indiana State
University has included working with all types of people with counseling. I have worked with
low income families on dealing with financial stress. I also got the opportunity to work with
depression patients. I feel that my knowledge of people will benefit your team. I look forward to
applying my knowledge and skills to better myself in my career. I enjoy working with children
and hope that I can make a positive contribution to your team of experts.
