7. What did I learn about the childs development from todays
observation?
Today I learned that Hunter was going through a very
emotional day. I saw the child get very feisty with some of his
classmates, and also his teacher. I also saw that when Hunter
was not able to play during center time that he became very
upset.
8. What should I focus on the next time I observe this child?
I should focus on Hunters social and emotional development
the next time that I observe him, because from this
observation I saw that he could not handle his emotions or
feelings very well on his own.
9. What questions do I have regarding the childs development
and learning?
I want to ask the teacher if Hunter often displays this type of
behavior?
I want to ask the teacher if Hunter normally has a hard time
following instructions on his own.
I also want to ask the teacher if Hunter often feels the need to
hurt his peers that are sitting next to him.
I would also like to ask the teacher if Hunter normally cries out
loud if he does not get his way during class.

10.
What did I learn about the childs development from
todays observation?
Today I learned that the child is becoming more advanced in
his language skills when communicating with his class peers. I
also learned that the child is becoming quicker with his
cognitive skills because he is thinking faster than the times
before. I also learned that the child has an advanced
imagination for his age.
11.
What should I focus on the next time I observe this child?
The next time that I observe Hunter I want to focus more on
his language skills to see where he is when speaking one on
one. I want to see if Hunter will communicate clearly as he did
today when talking to his peers or if he is less social when
talking with adults.
3.What questions do I have regarding the childs development
and learning?
I want to ask the teacher what made Hunters attitude and behavior
change so quickly from my last observation.
I want to ask the teacher if Hunter often talks about his family
members with the class.
I also want to ask the teacher if hunter often goes to the kitchen
center as his first choice.
I would also like to ask the teacher about Hunters imagination and
if he comes up with games often on his own.
