INTRODUCTION TO SYSTEM

Event management is the application of project


management to the creation and development of
festival, events and conferences.
Event management involves small sub-modules
which have one unique base module & which is
describes the all event details. These details are
basically made for the targeted customers. The
customer who wanted to plan an event they refer the
system.
Very few event management systems maintain
some of the data computerized such as customer list,
vendor list, etc. As the system is manually, we
needed to retain all the documents so we can keep
the track of materials, bill, etc. Maintaining data
manually is time consuming as well as requires lot
of space to retain them

ADVANTAGES AND LIMITATIONS

Advantages:1.Easy to use
2.User friendly
3.Getting information is easy
4.Storing data is easy
5.Requires less memory space
Disadvantages:1.If system get hang or formatted whole data
will become unavailable.
2.It can be used by one person at a time.

SCOPE OF THE SYSTEM

Scope of the system


The main scope of system are1.Any field can be added and deleted from the
database.
2.Storing large amount of data is easy.
3.Reduces the time.
4.Reducing manual efforts for maintaining the
system.
5.Placing order & generating bills are easy.
6.Gives quick information about customer, staff,
vendor & materials.
7.Maintain very large database.
8.Reducing the lead time & serve customers to
their satisfaction.

HARDWARE & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
1.128mb RAM.
2.10/20 GB Hard Disk.
3.1.44mb Floppy Drive.
4. 14/15 soft white monochrome / color
monitor.
5.102 buttons keyboard.
6.500/866 MHz CPUs (Central Processing
Unit).
7.Stabilizer/ ups for stabilized power supply.
8.Shared printer Desk Jet/ Dot Matrix / Laser.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
9.Operating System: Windows XP/Windows
7/Windows 8
10. Front End: Visual Basic .Net
11. Back End: MS-Access2007.

The system has been developed with much care


that it is free of errors and at the same time it is
efficient and less time consuming.
The important thing is that the system is
robust.Avoid malfunction from outsiders.
It goes through all phases of software
development life cycle.
So produst is accurate.Also provision is
provided for future developments in the system.
