1.Thefollowingaresomeinstructionsregardingthewrittentest:
a.MOST IMPORTANT: DO NOT BRING MOBILE PHONES/SCANNING DEVICES/ANY ELECTRONIC GADGET TO THE
EXAMINATION CENTRE PLEASE NOTE THAT,NO ARRANGEMENTS FOR STORING THESE WILL BE MADE AT THE EXAM
CENTREASTHESEITEMSAREBANNEDINSIDETHECENTRE.
b.Candidatesarenotallowedtocarryanypapers,notes,books,calculators,cellularphones, pager etc. in the examination
hall.Anycandidatefoundusingorinpossessionof such unauthorized material or indulging in copying or adopting unfair
meanstobesummarilydisqualified.
c.StrictlyfollowtheInstructionsgivenonthequestionbookletorbyCentreSupervisor/RoomInvigilator.
d.YoumustuseBlack/BlueBallPointPenforthewrittentest.
e.Afterfinishingtheexamination,handovercompletequestionbookletandanswersheettoroominvigilator,DONOTcarry

2.Thetotaldurationoftestis2hours15minutes.PaperIwillbefor90minutes(PaperI02:30PMto04.00PM)andPaperII
willbefor45minutes(PaperII04:10PMto04:55PM).10minutesgapbetweenofPaperIandPaperIIwillbeforcollectionof
PaperIanddistributionofPaperIIandforfillingOMRsheet.Howevertheexamwillbeconductedinthecontinuation.Nobody
isallowedtogooutsidetheclassroomduringthegapperiod.
3.PaperI > This will be objective type multiple choice bilingual (English/Hindi) paper consisting of total 120 questions, 75
questions from Science and technology including physics, chemistry and maths expected from graduation and diploma level
candidatesand45questionsfromAptitude(GeneralAwareness,Reasoning&NumericalAbility).
4.PaperII > This will be objective type multiple choice question paper consisting of total 60 questions from General English
Only. The questions will be on Comprehension, Adverb, Part of Speech, Preposition, Direct and Indirect Speech, Active and
PassiveVoice,Synonyms,Antonymsetc.
5.TherewillbeprovisionfornegativemarkinginboththepapersPaperIandPaperII.Foreverywronganswer,1/3markswill
bededucted.NomarkswillbedeductedforleftoutQuestions.
6.Howtoanswerobjectivetypepaper
i.Inobjectivetypepapereachquestionisfollowedbyfouralternativeresponsesserialled(1)to(4).Youaretochoosethe
correct/bestresponseandmarkyourresponsewithBlack/BlueBallPointPenintheOMRAnswerSheetonlyandnotinthe
questionbooklet.Nochange/cutting/overwritingintheanswersareallowedintheOMRAnswerSheets.
ii.CompletelydarkentheOVALsothatthenumberinsidetheOVALisnotvisible.
iii.DarkenONLYONEOVALforeachanswerasshownintheexamplebelow.

iv.Markyouransweronlydarkeningoneoval.Multipleanswerstoanyquestionwillnotbecountedforscoring.DONOTmark
any stray marks anywhere on the answer sheet or on the question booklet. DO NOT fold or wrinkle the answer sheet.
