Serial Numbers and Materials

Serial numbers are used to track individual items in transactions like goods receipt and physical inventory. A serial number uniquely identifies an item. When entering a transaction, you must provide the serial number of each item in addition to the material and quantity. Reports are available to view all movements of a specific serial number.
