QUESTION 1
Determine the current I for figure 1 by using the approximation equivalent model for the
diode. Assume V1=20V, V = 0.6V, R1=20k & R2=10k .

Figure 2 shows a Zener diode circuit. The Zener break-down voltage is Vzo = 5.6V (diode
voltage when Iz ~0mA), and the incremental zener resistance is rz = 3, Ri = 50 k
and RL= Determine VL, IZ IL and Pz.
