Opinion Writing

For your last writing project this quarter you are


going to create and present a PowerPoint (PPT).
You will work on this in class and you may use your
flash drive to work on it at home.
You will present on Thursday, March 24th.
Your PPT must include the following:
-5 Paragraphs (intro, 3 body, conclusion)
-A Title Slide
-At least 2 pictures or clipart
-A transition between each slide

Opinion Writing
Steps:

1- Pick a topic you want to write about and create an opinion on


the topic.
2- Create your 3 main reasons for believing this.
3- Write 3 supporting details for EACH reason.
4- Write your introduction & conclusion including your thesis
statements.
5- Begin typing and putting it all together on PPT.

6- Edit with a partner


7- Present to the class!
