15th March 2016 Dear Parent/Carer Re: GCSE/BTEC Easter Revision and Booster Sessions As you are no doubt aware this is the most important time in your childs education at Armthorpe Academy. We are committed to providing all of our students with every opportunity to achieve a GCSE/BTEC grade, which reflects both their ability and commitment and maturity towards their future career choices. As a result of this, teachers are offering intervention sessions during the Easter break with students. Teachers, will work with students in a small groups on the days and times overleaf. Students should wear smart casual clothes for these sessions; bring books needed along with their equipment and a drink/snack. These sessions will be immensely valuable to all Year 11 students and we would appreciate your support in ensuring that they attend as many as possible. In addition to this, it is vital that all Year 11 students begin to revise for the Summer Examinations, if they have not already started to do so. A blank revision timetable can be found on the school website if students have misplaced their own copy and all students have access to www.frogplay.net , which has a wide range of self-marking activities for every subject. Yours sincerely
