Cathedral important monument the style of its gates: Irons gate
is baroque, the Apostles Gate is gothic and the Palace Gate is
Romanesque.
Museum of Bellas Artes San Pio V, baroque building, owns
famous works by authors like El Greco, Velzquez, Goya and
Murillo, among others.
Oceanographic, sea life.
Central market of Valencia, more than 100 years, you can buy
almost everything.
Valencias bullring, celebrations throughout the whole year.

Rural: La Tinena de Benifass, El Alto Palancia, Penyagolosa,
Els Ports Maestrat, La Calderona.
Cultural: City of Arts and Sciences, Valencias cathedral, the
silk exchange, central market.
Religious: the cathedral is very famous.

Leisure: ice creams, mediterraneans waters, Las Fallas are


the beginning of
celebrations, opera in the Palau Arts.
Health: some very important hospitals: Corposalud Clinic and
Quirn Valencia
Sport and adventure: volleyball, taking a boat, fitess areas,
sailing courses,

TRADITIONS
Las Fallas: 15th 19th May, light, color, fire and powder, wood
and cardboard monuments.
La Tomatina: last August Wednesday
Feria de Julio: arriving tourists
Traditional Valencias wear: richest traditional wear.
Paella: most traditional with rice, chicken and rabbit, bajoqueta
(green beans) and garrofn (butter beans).
Horchata and fartons: tiger nut, large biscuits.
Oranges: Valencias essential fruit.
