ASSIGNMENTS

INSTRUCTIONS: From the list of questions per lesson, choose two questions
and answer correctly. Answers should be hand written in a one whole yellow
paper. One yellow paper per assignment. Complete and correct answers are
required.
Lesson 1

2. Give at least 2 ways on how we can navigate around the Photoshop
screen.
3. From the 11 menus of Adobe Photoshop, choose 3 menus and give at least
2 commands that you can perform/execute when accessing your chosen
menu.
4. Identify the step on how to open an existing picture in Photoshop.

1. Choose 5 tools from the toolbox and explain the use of the tool that you
chose.
2. Identify 10 shortcut keyboard commands that can be used in Photoshop
and explain its purpose.
3. What is the use of Preferences option in Adobe Photoshop?
Lesson 3
1. Define the term Zooming and Panning. Identify the steps on how to zoom
and pan in an image.
2. What is the use of History window in Photoshop and how can we use it?
3. Identify the different uses of the Adjustment window?
4. What is Masking in Photoshop? What are the uses of Masking?
Lesson 4
1. Define the following terms: Pixel, Resolution and Crop.
2. What are the different tools that we can use in Photoshop to select
images? Give at least 2 situations why there is a need to select at times.
