Nikon 700D: This is the camera
that I was luckily enough to use in order to film my artefact for my coursework. It was a risk, because it was such an expensive camera which did not belong to me, however by using I had been able to teach myself how to utilise this device.
Tri pod: Throughout the course of
this coursework, I have come to learn that the tri-pod is on of the most important piece of equipment as it will support the camera, which will allow us to take steady shots and make it look professional. Without it, it would have been extremely difficult to pull out a top quality video without it looking unprofessional. We were taught how to use it from GCSE, so using the tri pod was not difficult.
Blogger: Blogger is a network site,
created by google and it was extremely helpful to fellow students, and me as it allowed us to publish all of our coursework onto our group blogs and also our individual blogs. When we had first started to use blogger I did not understand the mechanics behind as it was difficult for me and many students as it was new for everyone, but as I started to use it much more it became much easier and simpler to use.
Microsoft Word: Majority of our work
was produced by using Microsoft Word. This was mainly used due to the fact that everyone has definitely used this programme at some point or maybe come across it. It is very well known programme that allows you to type any information on blank paper. Although, I did come across a flaw in Microsoft word which is that I was not able to upload any of my documents straight onto my blogger account. Therefore, I had to find a programme which allowed me to upload on blogger, which was Scribd.
Scribd: Scribd was a very
convenient programme as it allowed me to upload my documents onto their website and then embed my work onto a different programme such as blogger. It was a very simple site to use and it was also free.
Mac Computer: During lessons,
we were given time to use the Macs which will allow us to complete our coursework on. This was a difficult device, especially for me since I usually use a Windows computer. After a week or so, I am now comfortable when using the Macs as it was a much better device than most other devices.
Photoshop: The only time when
we had used this programme was for when we had to complete the storyboard as well as the production logo. This programme was not too difficult to use as a few of us had used Photoshop during GCSE.
PowerPoint: PowerPoint was a
programme which should be familiar with everyone, just like Microsoft Word. I had used PowerPoint for the meeting notes, this programmes is free to use which is one of the reasons I had used PowerPoint.
