Lead the Professional Learning work stream to engage with twenty-seven school districts to help increase
student achievement by:
Structuring and providing professional learning opportunities for teachers
Helping schools develop career pathways for students
Assisting schools in offering dual enrollment courses to students
Designing personalized learning opportunities to engage students
Accelerate college and career readiness within schools by providing professional development in
career pathways, teacher leadership, improving teacher effectiveness, formative instructional
practices, student motivation.
Instrumental in developing many of the career pathway tools and vision for the Ohio Appalachian
Collaborative.
Assisted in designing Personalized Learning website for the Straight A Grant for the Ohio
Appalachian Collaborative.
Lead the Professional Learning team of the Ohio Appalachian Collaborative Straight A grant with
twenty-seven rural school districts and over 3,200 teachers to provide blended professional
learning opportunities through platforms to allow rural educators opportunities to improve
instruction.
Develop strategic action plans for professional development coordinators to reach goals of
districts and grant.
Work closely with colleges to develop dual enrollment courses to expand pathways to increase
graduation and college-going rate in rural school districts.
Collaborated with the Ohio Department of Education in executing the recent Career Advising
Initiative.
Provided technical assistance and developed resources for implementation of Ohios Career
Advising Policy.
Conducted nine regional trainings throughout Ohio to train trainers to help schools implement
the Career Advising Initiative.
Developed materials for Ohio Department of Education regional trainings.

gap to promote that ALL students graduate on time and prepare for post-secondary education, the
military or the workforce

Developed a school-wide Diversity and Harassment program and delivered to all Dresden Elementary
students and staff
Use a variety of social media platforms to improve communication between district and students, staff,
and community stakeholders.
