The Library Board meets
on the 2nd Wednesday
of each month at
7:00 PM.
Sheryl Sollars, Library Director, and the WWPL management team are working
on a work plan that breaks the goals down into measurable and attainable
projects. We will continually review and update the community on the plan as
we progress through the next 3-5 years.
Kerry Green joined the library staff as Assistant Director in January. His main
duties revolve around the librarys technology and building maintenance.
We have purchased all new computers for the computer lab and have made
some minor adjustments which have greatly improved our librarys computer
user experience. We have also recently added a coin tower already configured
to work with CASSIE, our time and print management software on the public
computers. A print release station has also been set up so patrons no longer
need to pay at the Reference Desk it works very much like making copies.
George Clark, our building manager, retired in November. George will definitely be missed. He kept the library running for many years. Thank you George
and now you can really enjoy being retired!
