    K CLASS NEWSLETTER

    February 29, 2016, Issue 20

    What has been happening in our classrooms?

    This Weeks Focus:

    Language: sun, sky, rainbow, bright,


    light, indigo, violet

    Thank you to the parent volunteers, for coming to our February


    MTST last week. The March session will take place on Friday,
    March 18.
    We have started to decorate our classrooms with many colours
    to learn about rainbow and kick off spring. We are going to add
    birds, caterpillars, ladybugs, bees, butterflies, frogs and many
    more. The songs about the Rainbow made our children smile.
    We enjoyed singing the songs and making our Rainbow craft.
    We are excited about the upcoming Colour Week (week of
    March 21st) because we will be wearing Red, Orange, Yellow,
    Green and Blue color clothing; one color for each day from
    Monday to Friday. (A separate letter will be sent shortly.)

    New students in K Red


    Last week, K Red welcomed Isabella, a girl from the USA who
    comes to school on Tue/Fri. She is settling in nicely.
    Gentle reminders:

    Please always keep an umbrella or a raincoat in your


    childs backpack.

    Please send your childs hat back to school on


    Mondays. UISG have No hat, no play policy.
    Without a hat children are only allowed to play at the
    verandah.
