Assignement 1: Informationnformation Literacy
a. I logged onto the CCBC page and clicked library, in the space bar, I typed Mobile
Technology, and on the left side of the page in the area that said refine results, I checked
Scholarly Journals. I also checked Academic Journals under In Source Types.
b. I used The Education Source, and the Journal of Technology Studies.
c. I chose these Databases because my topics were education related and technology related
as well.

2. I had a hard time trying to get recent information on my topic, I especially
wanted recent information on school websites but I could not find any, I went onto
the CNN website and found this article from Feb, 12,2016. The article is about an
Assistant Superintendent Dr. James M. Callane who was appointed to the eLearning
Leadership Cadre for the Indiana Department of Education to increase the capacity
of innovation in classrooms through education technology. The article states that

nothing can replace the old teaching technology, but eLearning will help to extend
beyond the classroom setting. The title of the article is Mac administrator
appointed to state technology cohort. It goes onto state that James Callane will help
direct how new technology is used in schools.
