at the very beginning when
water ripples are creates in
a stream. This signifies
peace as nothing seems to
be out of the ordinary

Shows someone is
watching the protagonist
as they are coming to
terms with where they are
and what happened to
them

Signifies there is someone


following the protagonist,
making it aware that the
protagonist is in immediate
danger, but they haven't
seen what it is yet

is behind the protagonist
when they turn around
after hearing a twig snap;
therefore making them
thunk it was all in their
head

scene as the protagonist
trips over a tree trunk and
doesn't get up in time
allowing the antagonist to
catch up to them

Heart Beat

Non-Diegetic

Signifies that the


protagonist is in a state of
panic as they are in shock,
fearing as to what the
antagonist will do to her

Dog Whistle

Non-Diegetic

The protagonist is in and


out of consciousness and it
will be used as an ear
ringing sound as they are
too weak to fight back
