I have been instructed by my client Khayyam ul Hassan Lodhi
resident of House No. __________________ Lahore to serve upon you the following legal notice. 1. That my client hired your banquet complex along with your services for dinner for the marriage ceremony of his sister. 2. That you agreed to provide the dinner along with banquet complex for the 250 guests @ of Rs. 950/- and received amount Rs. 2,58,500. 3. That the marriage ceremony was scheduled to be held on 11-042015 at 06:30 to 09:45 (evening). 4. That the guests of my clients attended the said function and ate the dinner provided by your banquet complex. 5. That next morning, after the marriage ceremony most of the guests of my clients suffered from peculiar stomach problems and they began to vomit and experienced loose motion. 6. That some of my guest namely Iqbal Hassan, M. Mohsin, Ashan Lodhi, Sobia Waqas, Hamza Iftikhar, Wajiha Lodhi and others undergone medical treatment, their medical certificates are enclosed here with. They visited the hospital where they were diagnosed dyria, gestric and food poisoning. 7. That my client brought all the above facts into your notice but you did not pay heed to the complaint of my client. 8. That due to your unhygienic and spoiled food the guests of my client are suffering from serious illness and undergoing medical treatment; and they have to bear all the medical expenses. 9. That due to your faulty and defective service/ food my client and his family suffering, inter alia, great mental agony, stress, depression and loss of reputation etc. 10. That due to your defective service and unhygienic food my client is facing music and extreme criticism from in-laws of his sister. You are, therefore, required to immediately pay the damages of Rs. 10,00,000/- for the mental agony, irreparable loss of reputation and financial loss, loss of utility caused to my client due to faulty and defective service/ food. Moreover, you are advised to return of the charges Rs. 2,58,500 paid to you by my client. You are also advised to pay the Rs. 100,000/- for medical expenses, otherwise my client will be constrained to initiate legal proceedings against you. DATED: 25-04-2015
