Opening Program

Charlie: The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not winning but taking part; the
essential thing in life is not conquering but fighting well, said Pierre de Coubertin.
Sarah: As we plunge ourselves into the world of sports, Agusan del Sur National High
School welcomes you all to its Intramurals 2015 with the theme SPORTS: CONTNUING
ITS COMMITMENT OT EXCELLENCE.
Charlie: To start, everybody is requested to stand to give honors to the Philippine Flag with
the National Anthem, and this will be succeeded by a doxology, Symphony Youth Choir,
leading.
Sarah: You may now take your seat. This time, to formally declare the opening of
Intramurals 2014, please welcome our father in ASNHS, a principal IV, sir Teodoro N. Plaza.
Charlie: Now, to formally welcome everyone around, let us hear the words right from the
MAPEH Department Vice President, Lanie Rose P. Albert.
Sarah: Let us hear now the statement of purpose of this activity straight from the PE and
School Sports Coordinator herself, madam Haydee P. Mangadlao. .
Charlie: At this juncture, we come to the Raising of Banners by year level muses and
escorts. Please prepare yourselves for this initial competition. Are you, guys, ready? So you
start in the count of three. Onetwothree
Sarah: As we formally begin the Intramurals 2014, to show our commitment to purity,
reason and peace based on the Greek traditions, let the urn now be lighted. To do the
lighting is National Athlete in Tennis, Jonel Canal.
Charlie: All right, and that signals the start of the tournaments.
But before we proceed further, ensuring the quality of the games, our players will be taking
an oath of sportsmanship/amateurism. To lead them is our National Athlete in Sepak
Takraw, Marvin Jared Mancera.
Sarah: This instant, upholding truthfulness and fairness in the games, it is now the turn of
the Officiating Officials to take an oath. To lead them is our 2013 National Coach in
Baseball, no other than, sir Reynaldo P. Congayo.

Charlie: As of this moment, let us all lend our ears and open our hearts for the message of
challenge. Please give him a warm ASNHS welcome, Regional Sports Coordinator.

Sarah: Thank you sir for your, awe-inspiring and action provoking message. Having heard
the challenge, let us now listen to the response from our well-rounded Principal IV, sir
Teodoro N. Plaza.
Charlie: Thank you sir for the heartfelt acceptance. To formally close this opening program,
we give you the MAPEH Department President, Secondary School Teacher I in MAPEH,
sir Jesse Jim Pajaron.
