4. Space
Pace illustrates the distance around, between and above objects. Space exists around us. We use
illusions to make space in art.
Positive Space- the shapes or forms of interest
Negative Space- the empty space between the shapes or forms

5. Texture
Texture is how a surface of something feels or look how it should feel.

6. Form
Form is three dimensional geometrical figures and takes up space.

7. Tone/Value
Refers to light and dark in a painting. There are five shading techniques of line that are used to
