Book Club

To effectively participate in book club meetings, members must come prepared. They should read the assigned material and think about both the literal and figurative meanings. At each meeting, members are expected to actively engage in discussion by speaking about moments in the book that stood out to them, asking questions, and answering other members' questions. They should also take notes to reference during the meeting, including a passage to read aloud, questions about the content, symbols/images that caught their attention, themes, and real-world connections. Being prepared allows for fruitful discussion and unpacking of the book's meanings and themes.
