HTML5 Lesson Plan

Background:
This course is for web developers and whoever wants to enhance their
knowledge on web programming. HTML is the markup language that used by
almost every web developer to display material on the internet. HTML5 is the
latest standard that is being used to create these webpages. It is an
extension and improvement of HTML4 standard. In this is course basic
knowledge and skills for developing and enhancing web pages with HTML5
will be developed. This course is given for senior school students during the
spring semester.

Purpose of the lesson:


The purpose of the lesson is for learners to differentiate between HTML4 and
HTML5 functions, and create webpages by using HTML5 language.
Learning Objectives:
O1. Learners will be able to enhance a ready HTML4 website with the
new appropriate elements of HTML5.
O2. Learners will differentiate between HTML4 elements and HTML5
new elements.
O3. Learners will be able to describe the new elements and its
function.
O4. Learners will learn how to discuss and work collaboratively with
each other on which element should be replaced to achieve the
assignment.

Synapsis of Lesson:
Learners would have to read the assigned chapters and watch the videos,
they can use the edit pad to play around and test the syntax code they are
learning about.

project, quiz and reflection.
