Business Area (for internal purposes) Business areas represent separate areas of operation within an organization and can
be used across company codes. They are balancing entities that can create their own set of financial statements for internal
purposes. It is therefore possible to save and evaluate transaction figures for each business area. It is denoted by a 4
character alphanumeric code. The use of business areas is optional.
Define Business Area T Code: OX03
Path: SPRO > SAP Reference IMG (F5) > Enterprise Structure > Definition > Financial Accounting > Define Business Area
> New Entries
Steps 1 Enter 4 digit code in business area field and name of business area in the description field and save
