Show and Tell: Please bring in one item that begins with the short u sound or has the short u sound

in the middle of the word. Examples: umbrella, bug, bus, cup


Valentine Boxes All covered boxes should be sent in on Wednesday, Feb. 10th. We will decorate

boxes on this day. Any child who does not have a covered box to decorate, will be given a paper
bag to decorate and bring Valentines home in on Friday.
3D Shapes Please see the Math Home link about 3D Shapes. Please find 1-2 items at home and

send it/them in on Tuesday, Feb. 9th.


Clip Chart Update: Please see the handout to see new reasons kiddos will clip down starting this

week.
Valentines: All Valentines will be passed out on February 12th during the school day. These should

be sent in with your child. We will not pass them out during the party. Remember to check the list
and make sure your child has one for each student if he/she chooses to pass out Valentines. Also,
students should write all students names and sign his/her own name.
